This listing is for 50 paper peony escort cards made in your choice of colors.
The flower and tag are made with plantable paper which is gaining popularity as an eco friendly alternative to traditional paper decor. After the event, your guests can take them home, plant them and grow flowers!
Each peony is made from multiple layers of paper that are carefully shaped to achieve the look of a realistic flower and measure about 1 1/2" in diameter. With the tags the escort cards measure approximately 3 1/2" long and the tag is 1 7/8" wide.
Please indicate your color selection during checkout. If you would like more than one color, leave your color choices in the notes to seller section.
It is recommended that you use a fine point sharpie or ball point pen to write on the tags. If you would prefer, I can substitute out the tags with plain cardstock
To plant, simply soak the paper in water, plant about 1/4" deep, water for 4-6 weeks and watch your seeds sprout.
These flowers are made with paper that contains a mix of the following seeds:
Sweet Alyssum
English Daisy
Bird's Eye
Snapdragon
Catchfly
Black Eyed Susan
Clarkia
Remember that annuals will bloom the first year but perennials usually don't bloom the first year. Also, while planting is simple it is not foolproof. The seeds will need to be monitored to ensure they are receiving proper water.
