How many times have you had a party and just thrown away the decorations? Our wedding garland is the perfect eco-friendly solution to eliminating all of the waste. After your event is over, you simply cut up the garland and plant it in a pot or in the garden. Each paper circle is embedded with wildflower seeds that will sprout and grow. You can even send your guests home with some and they will have a lasting remembrance of your event!
This listing is for one 10' garland in your choice of colors sewn with 100% cotton thread which will break down in the soil. The circles measure 1 1/2" in diameter and are randomly machine sewn. Each end of the banner will have approximately 10 inches of thread to make hanging easier.
Please indicate your color choices in the notes to seller section.
Color choices are shown in the pictures. The fourth picture shows all colors available from left to right: burgundy, red, pink, tangerine, golden yellow, yellow, light yellow, white, lime green, sage green, teal, royal blue, turquoise, light blue, lavender purple and violet purple.
To plant, simply soak the paper in water, plant about 1/4" deep, water for 4-6 weeks and watch your seeds sprout.

Remember that annuals will bloom the first year but perennials usually don't bloom the first year. Also, while planting is simple it is not foolproof. The seeds will need to be monitored to ensure they are receiving proper water.
***It is recommended that these be planted in 2013. If your event is later in the year, I can arrange production and shipment closer to your event.
CURRENT PRODUCTION TIME IS 1-2 WEEKS. Rush orders are available. Please contact me for details.
Looking for larger quantities or different colors? Feel free to contact me.
I am currently not shipping outside of the United States because of customs restrictions regarding live seeds.
