These plantable paper hearts are the perfect eco friendly alternative to traditional party decor. Each paper heart is made from paper with wildflower seeds embedded in it. After use, plant them and watch them grow. The paper will slowly compost away leaving nothing but flowers.
This listing is for 100 heart shaped confetti in dark gray. There are two sizes in this mix. The smaller hearts measure approximately 1 1/2" x 1" and the larger hearts are just under 2" x 1 1/2" The third picture shows them next to a quarter for comparison. The fourth picture shows the paper as it is beginning to sprout and the last picture shows a pot of flowers grown from the paper.
To plant, simply soak the paper in water, plant about 1/4" deep, water for 4-6 weeks and watch your seeds sprout.

Remember that annuals will bloom the first year but perennials usually don't bloom the first year. Also, while planting is simple it is not foolproof. The seeds will need to be monitored to ensure they are receiving proper water.
